Adult Basic Education (ABE)

This course is designed to assist English-speaking adults in basic reading, writing, mathematics, and everyday life skills. This program will prepare students for the General Educational Development (GED®) exam. Click here to register. Please call 860.687.2000 ext. 1271 for further information.

Registration and Class Placement:  Students are required to take a reading and/or math appraisal for proper class placement.  

All classes are held at the Windsor Board of Education located at 601 Matianuck Avenue, Windsor. Please use the main entrance. Masks required when necessary according to WPS safety guidance.

Morning Class: ABE/GED®/ESL Computer Lab

  • Thursdays only, from 9–11:00 AM
  • Starts February 9 
  • Class runs for 10 weeks
