Adult Basic Education (ABE)

This course is designed to assist English-speaking adults in basic reading, writing, mathematics, and everyday life skills. This program will prepare students for the General Educational Development (GED®) exam.

In-person registration is mandatory for new and returning students. New students are required to take a math and reading appraisal. Call 860.687.2000 ext. 1273 for further information.

Daytime Class: ABE/GED State High School Equivalency

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9–11:30 AM
  • Starts September 21, 22, 23
  • Class runs for 12 weeks
  • Held at the Windsor Board of Education, 601 Matianuck Avenue, Room 20
  • Instructors: Bulat & Kijak
  • Free
  • Registration: September 14, 15, 16 from 9–11 AM, Windsor Board of Education, Room 8 (Please use the main entrance.)

Evening Class: ABE

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6–8:30 PM
  • Starts September 21, 22, 23
  • Class runs for 12 weeks
  • Held at the Windsor Board of Education, 601 Matianuck Avenue, Room A209/A211
  • Instructors: Alves, Schwartz, & Bilotta
  • Free
